The National Treasury Administration of the Ministry of Finance announces that it has introduced the Taiwan Pay mobile payment option, beginning today, for tobacco and alcohol producers and importers to realize fees payments promptly and with less effort. Payers can now download relevant payment bills of fees, such as the examination fee, the certificate issuance fee, and the annual permission fee, from the Payment System for Tobacco and Alcohol Business on the Administration’s website, and choose the newly added Taiwan Pay mobile payment option, in addition to other currently-used options such as cash payments at the counters of banks, post offices, or convenience stores, automatic teller machines, online banks, online ATMs, e-bill transfer, etc., to more promptly realize payments with no processing fees; there is no need to input the due sum amount or beneficiary account number. The tobacco and alcohol producers and importers are therefore welcome to utilize this new option.

In line with the bilingual policy set by the Executive Yuan, the Administration has also rearranged relevant information regarding the due sum, the due date, and the description of payment options of the above-mentioned payment bills in both Chinese and English so that foreign payers can conveniently finish the payments by themselves.
