Enhancing Participation in Urban Renewal Mechanisms, Leveraging the Momentum to Drive Urban Renewal

Content: To amend and promulgate the "Disposal Directions for National Land Located within the Space of Urban Renewal Business" to facilitate practical implementation.

Performance: As of January 2024, 431 units and 524 parking spaces have been returned; 21 units have not yet been taken over; 292 units have been marked for sale; 1 unit has been marked for rent; 10 units have been allocated to the Taipei City and New Taipei City governments for use as social housing; 2 units have been allocated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; 4 unit has been allocated by the Ministry of Economic Affairs' Department of Investment Promotion; and the remaining 100 units have not been used as social housing after consulting with housing authorities, and will be revitalized by bidding for sale, bidding for rent, or other means to enhance the efficiency of the use of state-owned property. In addition, 80 ongoing cases have been selected and approved under the Rights Exchange Program, with an estimated return of 787 units, 856 parking spaces, and over NT$1,018.43 million in royalties.
