Comply with National Social Welfare Policies, Improve Assets Activation Benefits

Contents: Comply with the major national social welfare policies to promote public housing and long-term care, and assist governmental agencies and private institutions in obtaining the required national real estate.

Performance:

1. Public Housing (updated in January 2024)

(1) Have been provided:

I. Established by the competent authorities of public housing: Assisted in the transfer 59 pieces (25.51 hectares of national land), 10 buildings, and 4 leased (3.17 hectares).

II. Established by the instruction of MOI: Have donated 40 pieces (13.21 hectares of national land, 0.85 hectares of national buildings), leased 14 (7.11 hectares of national land) and sold 22 pieces of land (7.22 hectares of national land), a total of 76 pieces (27.54 hectares of national land, 0.85 hectares of national buildings).

(2) Have been instructed by MOI (not applied yet or under applying by the National Housing and Urban Regeneration Center): Donated 62 pieces (16.14 hectares of national land), leased 17 (3.86 hectares of national land) and sold 8 pieces (4.9 hectares of national land), a total of 87 pieces (24.90 hectares of land).

(3) Reserved: Comply with public housing policies to reserve 643 pieces of national land (114.34 hectares), 3 national buildings for the competent authorities of public housing to process the preliminary planning; of which, 623 pieces of land (111.79 hectares), 3 buildings (0.21 hectares) have been set aside for the National Land Management Agency, MOI. We will continue to provide national real estate to help implement public housing policies according to the Housing Act and the Enforcement Rules of the Housing Act.

 

2. Long-term Care: Updated in January 2024, assisted agencies to transfer 27 pieces of national land, and 4 pieces of national real estate (11.73 hectares of land, 11 buildings) to install long-term care facilities, and pursuant to the laws to lease 2 pieces of national land and 4 pieces of national real estate (1.32 hectares of land) for foundations and incorporated charitable associations to establish private long-term care institutions and, by ways of improvement and utilization, to provide 4 pieces of national land (10.41 hectares) for the local governments to plan and introduce long-term care industry.
