National Taxation Bureau of Kaohsiung(NTBK), Ministry of Finance has expressed that the dates for 2019 aliens’ individual income tax refund will be July 1st, Aug. 3rd and Sep. 11th. If taxpayers select the way of transferring account refund, they can check registered accounts after the above dates.

The Bureau indicated that the refund checks shall also be available for taxpayers, and the dates are as follows：

1.At the end of Aug.：for taxpayers who filed 2019 individual income tax returns from May 1st to May 15,2020 by e-filing.  

2.At the end of Sep.：for taxpayers who filed 2019 individual income tax returns from May 16 to June 30, 2020 by e-filing.

3.At the end of Oct.： for taxpayers who filed 2019 individual income tax returns from May 1st to May 15,2020 by paper or media.

4.At the end of Nov.：for taxpayers who filed 2019 individual income tax returns from May 16 to June 30, 2020 by paper or media.

The Bureau also recommended that foreign taxpayers look up refunds online from the official website (https://www.ntbk.gov.tw) by the following steps: Homepage/English/Themes/Aliens/Check Refund Online, or scan the QR-code by your mobile devices.
