The National Property Administration actively promotes the leasing of national non-public houses and lands to the rental housing subleasing business (hereinafter referred to as subleasing business) by tender for subleasing to sub-lessee tenants (hereinafter referred to as leasing of national houses and lands). The Northern Region Branch of the Administration issued a tender notice for 12 national houses and lands in Sec. 2, Zhonghua Rd., Zhongzheng Dist., Taipei City on May 30, 2023, and the results of the tender opening on June 30 were successful, achieving another success.
According to the National Property Administration, the 12 national houses and lands in Taipei City, with sizes ranging between 23 ping and 25 ping, are adjacent to train stations and MRT stations, with convenient transportation and vigorous neighborhood development, attracting three subleasing businesses to compete for the tender, which was eventually won by JoeRich Property Management Consulting Co. with an annual rent of around NTD 3.08 million. The properties will be repaired and subleased to sub-lessee tenants by the winner of the subleasing business.
The National Property Administration further stated that there are 24 national houses and lands in Taoyuan City, Taichung City, Kaohsiung City, and Tainan City expected to be launched in late July of 2023, with sizes ranging from 5 to 20 pings and 25 pings or more, adjacent to arterial roads, train stations, MRT stations, and schools, with convenient transportation and complete life functions, suitable for single workers, commuters and students, and petit bourgeois families.
The National Property Administration will continue to select suitable targets for handling the leasing of national houses and lands, with the aim of expanding the supply of rental housing to meet the housing needs of the public. The relevant tender information will be posted on the website of the Northern, Central, and Southern Region Branches of the Administration.
