Standard Industrial Classification of Taxation (Eighth Edition) was released and adopted since January, 2018. Since 1977, the Ministry of Finance is responsible for conducting the "Standard Industrial Classification of Taxation" for the purpose of practical usage in taxation administrative affair, e.g., standard of income and profit of the same trade concerned for industries. Thereafter, there were seven major revisions, on the basis of every 5 years. In accordance with the revision of Standard Industrial Classification (Tenth Edition) from DGBAS and reflecting the rapid change of industrial structure and forms of business activities, the latest(eighth) revision of Standard Industrial Classification of Taxation had been conducted and released.
