In the 2023 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, competition was intense, with approximately 5,500 entries. These spirits were evaluated by a panel of professional international-level spirits judges. The alcohol products certified by the MOF were awarded 35 medals, a testament to the elevation of our country's distillation techniques to international standards!

In order to promote the competitiveness of the certified alcohol products, the MOF has sent certified alcohols to international spirits competitions since 2017. Within seven years, they have accumulated a total of 111 medals, demonstrating outstanding performance. Particularly noteworthy are the Kavalan Solist ex-Bourbon Single Cask Strength Single Malt Whisky and Kavalan Solist Vinho Barrique Single Cask Strength Single Malt Whisky from King Car Food Industrial Co., Ltd Yuan Shan Factory, which clinched the double gold medals for both 2022 and 2023.
