Beware of scam emails impersonating the Ministry of Finance E-invoice Platform. These emails claim that an invoice from an item you purchased online has won a prize, falsely stating that there is an abnormality with your carrier or ask you to update your carrier consolidation, and attempt to trick people into clicking embedded links to fake webpages and provide personal information.

Please note that the correct platform email address and website URL both end with “.gov.tw,” which is reserved for government use. Everyone is reminded not to click unknown URLs and not to enter personal information such as credit card details.
