Application for access to view, hand-copy, or duplicate the archives of the Ministry of Finance (hereinafter referred to as “MOF”) shall first search for the Official Document Number or File Number on the National Archives Administration’s Navigating Electronic Agencies’ Records (NEAR) system for the Document Reference Number or File Number, and proceed according to the following application procedures:
- Those who wish to access the MOF archives should fill out the application form from the NEAR or MOF website (Attachment 1; sample show in Attachment 2), and send it by mail or in person or fax to the MOF.

The Ministry will notify you of the approval or rejection in writing, and fees will be charged in accordance with the Fee Standards for Viewing, Hand-copying or Duplication of Archives.

Those applying to access, view, hand-copy, or duplicate MOF archives must present the “Notice of Permit for Access to the Archives” and identification documents, and will be accompanied by a member of the staff.

The opening hours for the Archives Office are Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 12:30pm and 1:30pm – 5:30pm. Closed on national holidays. Please refer to the Guidelines for Use of the Archives at the Archives Office, MOF for details. (Attachment 3)
