The National Taxation Bureau of the Northern Area, Ministry of Finance （NTBNA）indicated that in order to encourage consumers to store cloud invoices through carriers, the number of cash awards of the NT$500 prize exclusive to cloud invoices has been increased by 500,000 sets to 2,450,000 sets, for the period of September to December, 2024. In addition, there are 30 sets of NT$1,000,000 cash awards prize, 16,000 sets of NT$2,000 cash awards prize and 100,000 sets of NT$800 cash awards prize. The amount of cloud invoice exclusive awards will reach NT$1.367 billion, hence the chances of winning will be greatly increased.
The NTBNA states in order to improve the convenience for the public to use carriers to obtain cloud invoice when shopping, the Ministry of Finance provides multiple carriers services that can be divided into common carrier and non-common carrier. The common carrier can be used by all stores that issue cloud invoices, such as mobile barcode. The non-common carrier includes membership card, electronic stored value card （EasyCard, iPASS card）, credit card/debit card, or the consumer’s e-mail address for cross-border e-commerce suppliers, etc. To allow the public to conveniently manage cloud invoices stored in various carriers and avoid missing out on their opportunity to receive cash prizes, the MOF provides the following two methods to consolidate various carriers to their mobile phone barcode and set up a bank account to claim the prizes（consumers need only choose one of the two methods）（Attached table）。
The Bureau appeals to the public to use carriers to obtain cloud invoices for shopping and consumption. After completing carrier consolidation and setting up a prize account, in addition to enjoying the double opportunity of general awards and cloud invoice exclusive awards, you can also enjoy the service of automatic prize matching. If you win the lottery, the prize money will automatically be remitted into your designated account. This means that you will never miss any prize money, and you can also save on 4‰ stamp duty.
