The “Universal Cash Handout” advocacy website and information service hotline are being officially launched on today, March 20, 2023

The Ministry of Finance indicates that in order to provide the public with immediate and accurate information regarding the universal cash handout and to prevent fraud, the Ministry has planned to establish the "Universal Cash Handout" advocacy website and the information service hotline "1988." Starting from today at 10 a.m., both the website and the hotline have been officially launched and the public is encouraged to make full use of them.

The Ministry of Finance once again reminds the public that the government will not send text messages or emails to notify individuals about receiving money or logging in, nor will they make phone calls requesting ATM or online banking transactions. It is crucial for the public to remain vigilant and not fall for these scams in order to prevent personal information theft or fraud. If encountering suspicious websites or messages, please immediately call the Anti-Fraud Hotline at 165 to prevent fraudulent incidents.
