Deadline Today (October 31) for Universal Cash Handout – Act Now to Avoid Missing Out!

The National Treasury Administration, Ministry of Finance, indicates that, as of 12:00 PM on October 31, 2023, over 23.47 million individuals have claimed their NT$6,000 cash, with over 99% of the population receiving the universal cash handout through multiple channels.

The NTA would like to remind the public that, eligible individuals are entitled to claim the universal cash handout by choosing an appropriate method for claiming before October 31, 2023. If, for any reason, individuals cannot claim through the three available methods (Remittance Registration, ATM Cash Withdrawal, or Post Office Cash Withdrawal), it is crucial to contact the information service hotline "1988" before October 31 (claims made after the deadline will not be processed) or leave a message through the online customer service on the 'Universal Cash Handout' advocacy website (pro.6000.gov.tw).

The NTA would like to reiterate that the government will not send text messages or emails to notify individuals about receiving money or logging in, nor will they make phone calls requesting ATM or online banking transactions. It is crucial for the public to remain vigilant and not fall for these scams in order to prevent personal information theft or fraud. If you encounter suspicious websites or messages, please call the Anti-Fraud Hotline at 165 immediately to prevent fraudulent incidents.
