Historical Background
​The Dept. of Accounting handles the budget and accounting affairs. It has been in existence for over 100 years and has been reorganized numerous times since its inception. In line with the Executive Yuan's restructuring policy, the Dept. of Accounting was reorganized on January 1, 2013. As of now, a total of subordinate 71 agencies have been set up.
Organizational structure
There are 18 employees in the Dept. of Accounting (including 1 Director General, 1 Deputy Director-general, 2 Assistant Director-Generals, 1 Senior Auditor, 4 Section Chiefs, 2 Auditors, 7 Executive Officers).
There are 4 sections that handle business concerning the annual budget, financial reporting and personnel administration of accounting of the Ministry and its subordinates.
