- International Taxation Academy:
Since its launch in 1984, the MOFTI has held 40 sessions of the International Taxation Academy, training 1,420 local tax officials and 286 foreign officials from 64 countries. The program covers the latest developments in international taxation, enhances participants’ capacity to handle cross-border tax issues, and fosters collaboration between Taiwan and international tax authorities, contributing positively to global tax cooperation and diplomacy.
- International Customs Workshop:
The MOFTI invites experts from the WTO, WCO, and customs authorities across Europe and the United States to deliver lectures on the latest international regulations and share best practice in customs. The workshop aims to strengthen the professional capabilities and international engagement of Taiwan’s customs officers, enhancing the cooperation.
- International Taxation Seminar:
Experts from the OECD are invited to conduct in-depth lectures on key topics such as transfer pricing and tax treaties. The seminar equips tax officials with up-to-date knowledge and cross-border auditing skills.
- International Fiscal Policy Workshop:
International experts from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the Asian Development Bank are invited to speak on intergovernmental fiscal relations, government budgeting and debt management, fiscal information systems, and performance evaluation frameworks. These workshops aim to strengthen fiscal governance and improve the effectiveness of public finance.
