KLC Welcomes Applications for Outstanding Dedicated Coordinator Certificates

Keelung Customs (KLC) is currently accepting applications for the Certificate of 2021 Outstanding Dedicated Coordinator for autonomous management employed by Customs stakeholders, such as operators of import/export depots, container terminals, bonded warehouses and logistics centers, entitled to self-governance (the Approved Business). This is to acknowledge those Coordinators’ contribution to the Approved Business they are working for in helping maintaining high level of Customs compliance through self-disciplinary efforts. The deadline for above-mentioned applications is March 31st, 2021. KLC encourages principals of Approved Business to apply the said Certificate for Dedicated Coordinators currently employed by them.

 

The candidates for the Certificate must meet the following conditions:

  1. Having been working in the Approved Business for at least three consecutive years.
  2. Having completed training courses which satisfies the requirements prescribed in the Regulations Governing the Approved Businesses in the previous year.
  3. No violation of Customs Act or other Customs-related laws and regulations by the Approved Businesses they served had been found in the previous year.
  4. Full and well implementation of autonomous management affairs required by Customs over the last 3 years, and supported by evidence of reporting to Customs upon discovering any irregularities.

 

KLC further indicated that the Certificate would be bestowed in an open ceremony to praise the recipients’ excellent performance.
