To promote the Cloud Invoice and achieve the goal of going paperless, the Ministry of Finance (MOF) has held the E-Invoice Competition on Campus since 2018. This year's event has extended to business operators with the 1st National Business Operators Issue Cloud Invoice Competition, aiming to increase the use of cloud invoice by encouraging business operators to actively issue invoices and instructing the general public. The award ceremony was held at 2:30 PM today (Dec. 29) in the hall of the MOF information center, to award outstanding schools, students, and business operators.
This year's competition included diverse activities, such as “The E-Invoice Competition on Campus”, “The E-Invoice Creative Promotion and Enrollment Campaign”, and “The National Business Operators Issue Cloud Invoice Competition”. Held for the 2nd time, the E-Invoice Competition on Campus attracted more than 40,000 participants competing in two groups: high/vocational school group and college/university group. Over 1,699,000 cloud invoices have been accumulated in total. The E-Invoice Creative Promotion and Enrollment Campaign harnessed the creative brainstorming of student teams to propose innovative marketing proposals to promote cloud invoice. After the fierce competition in first and second review, the top three teams were awarded and five other teams were selected as honorable mentions.
The 1st National Business Operators Issue Cloud Invoice Competition was held, with 12,057 qualified participating business operators. It generated over 461.59 million cloud invoices during the competition, which is an increase of 53.6% in comparison with 2018.
The Minister of Finance ,Mr. Su encouraged the public to use mobile barcode to store the cloud invoice. The events aim to influence the participants of the competition and their friends and families, making the storage of cloud invoices a regular habit in everyone’s daily lives. Together, we can achieve better consumption habits that help save the environment.
