How to apply for BOT Personal eBanking services ?

1. In-person Application at a Branch:

First of all, you must hold a current deposit account with Bank of Taiwan (hereafter BOT) to apply for eBanking services. If you don’t have an account with BOT, please bring your ID card, second supporting documents (e.g., driver's license or NHI Card), the minimum amount of money required to open a NTD account (NTD$1,000), and your seal (or signature) to the branch to open an account.

 

After having a current deposit account with BOT, you can apply for our Personal eBanking services at the same branch (if BOT have your photo in record, you can apply for Personal eBanking services at any BOT branches), and you will have to bring your ID card and the original account seal, and fill out the application formElectronic Banking Service Application Form and Agreement for Individual Customers. The branch will issue you with a password letter including a new User Code and a new Password, and then you can go to BOT homepagehttps://www.bot.com.tw → Click eBanking → Click Log In. When you are logging on to BOT eBanking services for the first time, you will be asked to change the User Code and Password. Please complete this password change process within one month after receiving the password letter.

 

2. Online Application:
Use theCard ReaderandBOT ATM Card/Fudu Card → go to BOT ebanking homepage and clickeCounter:
 

If you already have a current deposit account with BOT, you can go to BOT homepage https://www.bot.com.tw→Click eBankingApply for eBanking→ Use theCard Reader and BOT ATM Card/Fudu Card→ Apply for eBanking Query and Transactionservices.
 

BOT ATM Card /Fudu Card is required for online application.

You need to apply for eBankingQueryservices before you can apply for eBankingTransactionservices.
