1. From its inception to the end of May 2022, the surplus amount of the Public Welfare Lottery was approximately NT$538.9 billion. The surplus has been used for the national pension system, the safety reserve of the national health insurance program, and the social welfare of local governments.
2. The program takes care of vulnerable groups through promoting employment services. As of the end of May 2022, there were 43,475 retailers in the Public Welfare Lottery system.
