In order to alleviate the impact of the pandemic on the industry and relieve the pressure of storing duty-free goods, the Ministry of Finance has amended the regulations on the storage period of bonded goods in duty-free shops and offshore island duty-free shops on June 16, 2020, which stipulate that the storage period may be extended more than once due to natural disasters, incidents, or other force majeure. Any operators in need can make applications to the competent Customs Office.
