The ADB Business Opportunities Seminar in Taipei ended successfully
We have invited 3 ADB experts to be our speakers. The Seminar topics include ADB procurement policies and operating procedures, current and future potential business opportunities for Taiwan’s transport and energy industries.
Furthermore, Dr. Jain-Rong Su, Minister of Finance, delivered oral remarks in the opening of BOS. He encouraged Taiwanese firms to actively participate in the ADB-financed projects. The government team is the most solid backing for Taiwanese firms. During the BOS sessions, the participating Taiwanese firms had a productive and fruitful meeting with ADB experts. In addition, the participating Taiwanese firms discussed business opportunities and engagement in ADB-funded projects with these ADB experts in one-to-one consultation meetings, using the occasion to introduce their enterprises and establish communications channels. This helped them acquire information on business opportunities and raised their competitiveness. A total of more than 150 representatives attended the Seminar and 20 companies attended one-to-one consultation meetings. This year, the number of participating Taiwanese firms in the BOS reached a historical high record. The one-to-one consultation meetings yielded a rich harvest. The BOS was concluded successfully.
Our government will continue to work together to help Taiwanese firms open up foreign markets.
