“iTaiwan” now offers free wireless access; never miss important messages again

The National Tax Administration of Southern Taiwan has established i-Taiwan Wi-Fi hot spots at its 14 branches and offices. Visitors having internet devices like Wi-Fi-enabled smartphones, notebook computers, or tablets can access the internet for free and send/receive their emails, browse webpages and handle daily itinerary while waiting.

A note from the Administration︰To use this service visitors first have to register for an account at the i-Taiwan website (https://itaiwan.gov.tw). It is very simple; just enter your mobile phone number and check the code; you will then receive a text message that contains the authentication code. Then, use this code to set up a password, and you will be ready to enjoy the free internet access service.
