E-invoices are convenient and economical
Do you know the impact that the processing of manual invoices currently hason the global ecology? In order to provide paper invoices, we need to chopdown 80,000 trees annually, and the paper used is long enough to wrap aroundthe earth 46 times. To help save the earth, the government is promoting the use ofelectronic-invoices in which no paper is used in a transaction. In line withthe elimination of the need to print invoices, the use of e-invoices canlead to considerable savings in resources for both government and taxpayers.Using e-invoices can also shorten transaction flows and enterprises can saveon accounting costs. During the trial period (from 18th December, 2010 to the end of year 2011),Pxmart, 7-11, Hi-life and Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Department Store have joinedthe ranks of shops and stores that issue e-invoices. Such invoices can bestored in membership cards, credit cards, financial cards, and Easy Cards. Consumers will not have to keep paper invoices to check to see if they havewon a uniform invoice prize. Merchants and government will check the winninguniform invoice prize numbers on their behalf and notify the winners thatthey may collect their prize. Thus, consumers can rely on e-invoices andalso save time.
