Paper-Format e-Invoices are the same as traditional uniform invoices - You can trust them
(Taoyuan) The National Tax Administration of Northern Taiwan Province, Ministry of Finance said: The Ministry of Finance is promoting the use of e-invoices in the physical consumption market. In order to make it easier for business entities to use e-invoices in these early days of their introduction, and with the consideration that it is not easy to change the habit of the public, who are used to asking for a uniform invoice, in the short-term, the use of paper-format e-invoices is necessary for promoting the use of e-invoices in the period of transition.
In order to achieve the goal of paperless invoices, the Ministry of Finance has developed a three-phase approach to promote it. The first stage is the "Adaptation Period." Business entities will still provide paper-format e-invoices for the public of non-using tokens. The second stage is the "Growth Period." This period will see the integration of multi-carrier applications, such as credit cards, financial cards, and even cell phone numbers, so that it can be more convenient for the public to obtain e-invoices. The third stage is the "Mature Period." When the public becomes used to e-invoices, business entities will no longer provide paper-format e-invoices. The change to e-invoices is necessary to realize the polices of saving energy and reducing carbon emissions.
If a member of the public wins a uniform-invoice prize, paper-format e-invoices can be used in the same way as traditional uniform invoices. The prize-winner may receive the prize money at any post office. If the company’s ID number is printed on Paper-Format e-Invoices , it is an accounting document for tax or financial purposes.
